About Me

Hello, I'm Elizabeth.

I have been teaching yoga and mindful movement for 15 years. As a trained dancer (and teacher) until the age of 22, I went on to became a yoga teacher in 2015. In the decade since I have used my affinity for choreography and eye for the subtleties of movement to build a career as a yoga teacher in the South Sound. I am known for my confident teaching style, detailed experiential cueing, and grounding presence.

I currently run a private yoga practice in my hometown of Olympia, WA where we use the inherent therapeutic nature of yoga to help clients feel better in their bodies. I strongly believe that asana can (and should) be adapted to the individual and am passionate about combining modern science with the ancient wisdom of the practice.

My teaching grows and changes as I evolve, but what has always been constant is my emphasis on moving in a way that is restorative for the body, mind, and spirit. Using precise verbal cues that are designed to shift your awareness inward, I'll help you develop a deeply intentional practice. My hope for my students is that this inward focus leads them towards more moments of clarity and peace.

Beyond yoga, I care deeply about the Pacific Northwest's Orcas (and the health of the Salish Sea), enjoy walking my little dog Baxter on the South Sound beaches, and relish in my time at home.
